Through the countryside and woods around Esbeek runs a unique art route based on the etchings of Andreas Schotel. His art, which depicts the peasant life of the past, has been reinstated in sculptural form in various places, allowing you to relive past times during your walk. You can choose between 3 or 10 km, but the short route doesn’t show you some of the best works. Many of the sculptures will also appeal to children, who can also have fun geocaching along the same route. You can start at café Schuttershof in Esbeek, where you can get free maps and visit the Andreas Schotel museum (free of charge).
