The Emmamolen in Nieuwkuijk has been located in a beautiful spot along the dyke since 1886. It is an excellent homebase for a walk, whether you are going towards the amazing Moerputten nature reserve or the bridge. The location is marvellous for a fresh cup of coffee with cake during a bicycle ride. The two new managers from ‘s-Hertogenbosch have given the Emmamolen Restaurant a fresh, new look. It now opens at 10:00 the entire week, welcoming you for lunch, drinks and dinner. You can sit on the lovely terrace with a beautiful, rural view or, if the weather is cooler, snuggle up inside the Molen itself. Next to the restaurant is Bakhuys Emma, where you can purchase goodies and delicious baked products from Emmamolen’s ‘own mill’. Nice to know ... the owner of Buul bakes bread with the flour that comes from the Emmamolen, from grain that is grown in the area. In other words, enjoy a Brabant product that is very local indeed!
